Welcome to my very first blog post. I hope you enjoy my thoughts, as I share the stories and gorgeous couples that inspire my designs.
First up is my amazing hairdresser Jessica, and her husband Christopher Nalbandidis.
When Jessica and Christopher first approached me to design their wedding invitation, I was immediately excited! The best thing about designing an invitation for a friend, is the complete trust they have in you to create something perfect for their special day.
The venue, Tatra Receptions, is located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, surrounded by lush greenery so Jessica really wanted to incorporate an element of nature into the design. Jessica also loves lace and a neutral colour palette, and that was all I needed to get started!
A lace pattern with a cursive font, printed using white ink on a recycled stock keep the design elegant, without being too rustic. The invitation, RSVP card, wishing well card and accommodation card were then bundled up with an ivory coloured satin ribbon, and enclosed in a metallic light gold envelope.
Matching personalised menus and favour tags attached to a stunning glass bauble ensured that the entire event came together perfectly.
Please enjoy the photos xx
